BRACKNELL & Wokingham Swimming Club’s top youngsters are set for a thrilling end to the season.

The club is sending a strong contingent to Sheffield to compete in the ASA Summer Championships between August 2-6.

There, the B&WSC flag will be flown by the quintet of Reuben Alexander, Ellie Kirkham, Brogan Hyde, Lauren Richards and Charlie Stevenson.

In addition, Ffion Thomas and Grace Kinnell will be competing in a Swim Wales event in Swansea which starts next Monday.

Ffion will be looking to make her mark in the 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 100m backstroke, while Grace will take part in the 800m freestyle.

Meanwhile, B&WSC duo Charlotte Stevenson and Tyler Ioannou are involved in the British Summer Championships this week.

Charlotte will race in the 200, freestyle while Tyler has a hectic scedule as he competes in six events – 100m freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and the 200m freestyle and individual medley.

All the B&WSC competitors are coached by Nigel Willis, father of 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, Andrew, and a former club member.
