NINE gymnasts and a coach from Reddam Gymnastics, in Wokingham, have been selected to represent Great Britain in the Teamgym European Championships in Slovenia next week.
The nine gymnasts – John Pitney, Matthew Collis, Lewis Clothier, Katie Potts, Leoni Moran, Tadhg Tadgh Begley, Jenson Hazel, Lottie Jones and Abigail Wiltshire Abigal Whiltshire – have been part of a intense selection process during the past year-and-a-half, and have been selected from hundreds of gymnasts who attended the trials trails.
Head coach of Reddam Gymnastics Ltd,, Stuart Woods has also been selected as national coach and will be travelling alongside the team representing Great Britain Britian.
Teamgym is a growing sport and this is the first time a national team has been put together.
The event – which takes place from next Monday to Sunday, October 17 – will be live streamed on British Gymnastics YouTube.
