WASHINDI Trampoline Club put on another high-class display at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham recently.

Eight members of the Crowthorne-based club qualified through regional competitions for the NDP Regional Team finals.

Many had never competed at such a large venue before, but that did not stop them putting together some eye-catching routines.

In the 11 – 12 years, NDP1 men’s category, Jake Bullock secured sixth place and qualification to the NDP finals in July.

Kofi Elhaggagi came first in his category and has also booked his place in the finals in the 9 – 10 years men’s NDP 1 section, with teammate Owen Whittall in ninth place.

In the NDP 2 men’s 11 – 12 category, Ruben Botha finished in sixth place.

In the NDP 3 9 – 10 women’s category, Angelica Xanthoulis performed some of her best routines and gained 11th place. Jessica-Mae Brown, despite facing difficulties with her first routine, fought back with an excellent second routine for 15th place.

In the Level 6 men’s 17+ category, Callum Gooding returned from an illness to finish fifth and book his place in the finals.

Finally, in the Level 7 women’s 17+ category, Lydia Osborn came seventh in a large and competitive group after a routine involving very advanced moves.
