BINFIELD picked up their first win of the Hellenic Premier season thanks to an emphatic 5-0 victory over Highworth Town on Saturday.

The Moles bounced back from last week's cup upset and kept the only clean sheet in the division.

On target for Mark Tallentire's side were Jos Millar, Callum Whitty, Ian Davies, Jemel Johnson and Sebastian Bowerman.

Elsewhere, Wokingham & Embrook were edged out 3-2 by Witney Town thanks to a James Dobson brace and a goal from Ryan Brooks. Billy Elgar and Luke Lee replied for the Satsumas.

Ascot United were unable to build on last week's midweek draw with Oxford City Nomads and went down 3-1 at home to Abingdon Town with Ben Knight again on the scoresheet for the Yellamen.

Bracknell Town conceded a stoppage-time penalty as they went down 2-1 at home to Rayners Lane in Division One East.

Shane Cooper-Clark opened the scoring for Bracknell midway through the first half but Liam Hind equalised shortly after the break. The match looked to be heading for a draw until Lee Gardner tucked away the winning penalty in the 93rd minute.

Scott Hunter scored both goals for Finchampstead as they shared a 2-2 draw with Penn & Tylers Green.

In the Combined Counties Premier Division, it was all square in the Friday night match between Sandhurst and Cove.

An own goal and Glenn Faircloth's strike earned the Fizzers a 2-2 draw at Bottom Meadow to leave them with four points from the opening three games.

Meanwhile in Division One, Eversley & California came away with a 2-0 win over Westfield.
