BRACKNELL Town advanced to the preliminary round of the FA Cup after a 2-1 win over Fairford Town on Saturday.

Ben Knight and Tom Barratt got the goals for the Robins in the second half to set up a trip to Beaconsfield SYCOB on Saturday, August 31.

Ascot United enjoyed a far more comfortable 4-2 victory in their extra preliminary round tie at Tadley Calleva.

An own goal after seven minutes put the Yellamen ahead and Dave Hoar and Daryl McLean extended the lead before the break.

Tadley pulled a goal back in the second half but Sam Wadieh volleyed in to wrap up the victory.

Next up for Ascot is a trip to Southern Division One Central side Chalfont St Peter.

Binfield and Flackwell Heath meet in a replay at Hill Farm Lane this evening (Monday, 7.45pm ko) following a goalless draw last Friday.

The winner will host either Cheltenham Saracens or Slimbridge, who are also involved in a replay on Tuesday.

Sandhurst Town will face a replay against Farnham Town following a 2-2 draw at Bottom Meadow at the weekend.

Wokingham & Emmbrook conceded three goals in the final 15 minutes to lose 5-4 to Didcot Town Reserves in Hellenic Division One East.

Sumas were in control of the contest at half time as an own goal and strikes from Mitch Flaherty and Luke Lee put them 3-0 ahead.

Didcot gave themselves a lifeline with two goals early in the second half but Julian Harley also got on the scoresheet to make it 4-2.

Unfortunately for Sumas they could not hold on to their advantage as they conceded three late goals.

Eversley & California beat Farleigh Rovers 2-0 in Combined Counties Division One.
