ASCOT United remain unbeaten in the Hellenic Premier Division since mid-December following a 2-2 draw with Highworth Town on Tuesday.

It was always going to be tough to recover from Saturday's FA Vase exploits and the Yellamen duly fell behind after 13 minutes to an Aaron Maximen goal.

However, Jon Bennett, back from holiday, equalised shortly afterwards.

Highworth had a goal ruled out for offside and it was the Yellamen who got their noses in front with 15 minutes to spare.

Sam Wadieh headed in from Rob Saunders' corner to make it 2-1, but Highworth levelled the scores with three minutes remaining thanks to Elliott Knight.

The Yellamen travel to Highmoor Ibis this Saturday (3pm ko).

Sandhurst Town crashed out of the EL Record Premier Cup on Tuesday, going down 2-0 to Division One opponents Cobham.

Cobham booked their place in the semi-finals thanks to goals from Sam Merison and Juan Carlos.

Elsewhere, Finchampstead slipped to a second defeat in three days after they were beaten 5-1 by Maidenhead United Reserves in Hellenic Division One East.

The goalscorers were Lee Barney (2), Jack Banks, Kyle Lucas and Anthony Mendy.
