BINFIELD began life without James Suarez with a 2-1 defeat to Highmoor Ibis in the Hellenic Premier Division on Saturday.

Jordan Brown gave the visitors an early lead and, shortly after the break, Jos Millar was sent off for Binfield, who saw Suarez move to league leaders Marlow last week.

Carl Davies pulled a goal back for the Moles when he headed home after 70 minutes and Highmoor's Shaun Dyke followed Millar to an early bath after a second yellow with 10 minutes remaining.

The Moles were due to play Thame United at home on Monday night.
