The Lily Hill Ladies were pushed all the way by the plucky visitors who belied their poor form this season.
As for Bracknell, the win means they hold on to top spot in the South East South One table.
However, their lead is just two points and second-placed Ashford Ladies also have two games in hand.
Nevertheless, Jo Parker’s Bracknell are determined to fight for promotion all the way and Sunday’s hard-fought home win over Newbury could prove to be a vital one in the weeks to come.
