Thomas Spencer Jones, Tom Hodge, James Barrett, Ben Stevens, Ben Atkins and Jack McGee were awarded their ties at a presentation held by London Irish at the Madjeski Stadium on Sunday.

The sextet have been training with Berkshire Under 14s this season and helped the county beat Buckinghamshire 27-15 in early February.

Bracknell U14s are also enjoying an impressive season, with the A team unbeaten in their league and the B team notching up some excellent wins.

Meanwhile, Bracknell Under 13s showed no signs of rustiness as they defeated Teddington 40-10 in their first outing for six weeks.

It only took five minutes for some strong forward play and slick handling by the backs to set winger James Williams away to score under the posts.

Centre Josh Zeller repeated the feat just a few minutes later, albeit by a slightly more direct route as he carved a path through the middle of the pitch.

Bracknell continued to keep Teddington at bay at the other end, with scrum-half Jamie Brown instrumental in directing operations at the breakdown and helping his side turn over possession.

One such turnover saw flanker Kane O’Leary run the ball out from underneath his own posts, setting up winger Sam Faulkner to touch down for the first of his two tries.

Tom Hall, who had replaced Williams on the left wing, also bagged a brace while Matt Dalrymple, who slotted five conversions, controlled the game from fly-half with an array of passing, incisive runs and kicks into a strong headwind.
