CROWTHORNE RFC endured a disappointing start to their BB&O Premier campaign as they lost 29-24 at Risborough.
Despite poor weather conditions, Crows were left with the consolation of claiming two points from the game after scoring four tries – two converted – and ending within seven points of the victors.
Crowthorne host Slough – who were edged out 13-5 at home by Chesham in their opening encounter – at the Crow’s Nest this coming Saturday (3pm).
