The Crows were made to work hard in the early exchanges with a target of keeping the scoreboard ticking with every visit to the oppositions 22, and they delivered after five minutes with a Tom Wilson penalty opening their account.

Ten minutes later the hosts extended their advantage as loose head prop Ade Lovejoy crossed the whitewash from a five-metre line-out after the Crowthorne pack drove the resulting maul over for try line.

With a bare 15 players, Aldermaston stuck to the task and forced the Crows to be patient in their play, but the hosts scored six further tries through Greg Redpath, James Bailey Andy Dawson and James Huckle.

The Crowthorne defence stood firm although they did concede a score after the referee penalised the home side for too many infringements while camped on their own try line, awarding a penalty try to Aldermaston midway through the first half.

Tom Wilson added to the score chipping in with 11 points from the boot, while the forwards man-of-the-match went to Redpath. Dan Stanton, deputising at scrum half, was given the three quarters award.

Crowthorne return to action when they travel to Faringdon on January 10.
