Royals face Coppell cup reunion

READING FC are set to lock horns with legendary boss Steve Coppell in the FA Cup third round.

Royals have been draw away to Crawley Town where Coppell is now director of football.

The 57-year-old is revered at Madejski Stadium after taking Reading into the top-flight in 2006 for the first time in the club's history.

The former Manchester United winger is also a close friend of Royals manager Brian McDermott.

Crawley are currently ninth in League One and the cup tie will take place at Broadfield Stadim on the weekend of January 5/6.
