READING'S Adam Federici is set to reclaim the goalkeeper's jersey in tomorrow's Premier League clash against Norwich City (3pm ko).

The 27-year-old Australian will come back into the side to replaced the injured Alex McCarthy.

McCarthy, 23, damaged his should when he collided with a goalpost in the dying seconds of Sunday's 1-1 draw at QPR.

The ex-England Under 21 keeper is likely to be sidelined for at least two weeks.

McCarthy has started the last seven Premier League games and has been in superb form between the sticks.

Now opportunity knocks for Federici, who was Royals' first-choice at the start of this season but lost his place after a series of blunders.

Royals boss Brian McDermott confirmed: "Alex has seen a consultant, he has a shoulder joint problem and will be out for a little while."

Midfielders Jem Karacan and Danny Guthrie have also been ruled out of Saturday match through injury, though Noel Hunt is fit to play despite picking up a slight knock at Loftus Road.

And McDermott knows his side must cut out their individual mistakes if they are to pick up their first win in the Premier League this season.

"Unfortunately, in this league individual errors cost you and that is always the difference," he confessed.

"If we can cut those errors out then we will start to win games, it's as simple as that."

Meanwhile, Norwich defender Russell Martin faces a late fitness test on a back injury while doubts linger over defender Michael Turner (dead leg) and full-back Javier Garrido (knee) who both went off during last weekend's 1-0 home win over Stoke,

Canaries' on-loan Spurs striker Harry Kane is expected to return before Christmas following foot surgery.

++ A minute's silence will be held before Saturday's game to mark Remembrance Day. ++
