Magic Malone: Chris Malone, who scored four penalties at the weekend, clears the ball from defence.
CHRIS Malone kicked four penalties as London Irish won an uninspiring contest 15-9 against Harlequins at the Madejski.
Malone, playing against his former club, scored three times in the first-half and once more after the interval to add to a penalty from Tom Homer.
While the match was far from compelling viewing for the near 9,000 fans at the stadium on Saturday, the victory lifts Irish above Quins in the Aviva Premiership table and is just their second league win since November.
