The Yellamen were dominant throughout and attacked with devastating pace and power that their opponents couldn’t deal with as Jeff Lamb’s side added eight goals to the four they had notched on Saturday in their 4-0 win at Thame.

The hosts had the upper hand from the first minute and could’ve been ahead inside five minutes when Daryl McLean saw his effort well saved by the opposition goalkeeper.

But they didn’t have to wait long to make the breakthrough, as Damien Markman - who scored a hat-trick on the weekend at Thame - continued his good form by smashing the ball home after an inviting cross by McLean in the 15th minute.

The instrumental McLean then won a penalty moments after, which was converted by Rob Saunders to double the lead.

And it was game over two minutes later as Harris grabbed his first of the night when he chipped the advancing keeper to put the Yellamen 3-0 ahead.

It took until the second-half for another goal to come but it was McLean who notched for himself this time, firing home after good work by Andy Dean.

Harris then completed his hat-trick with two goals in quick succession as he stabbed home from a couple of yards when Joe Gritt’s shot was parried, before heading home after good work by Leon Yarnie.

Matt Cooper completed the rout with a brace in the 80th and 82nd minute, to give Ascot an 8-0 win that was fully deserved after a superb display of efficient football.

The Yellamen will look to cap a perfect week by winning at Kidlington on Saturday (3pm).

Elsewhere in the Hellenic Premier Division, Bracknell Town travel to Cheltenham Saracens on Saturday (3pm), looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat at Highworth Town on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Binfield host Shrivenham on Saturday (3pm) before welcoming Kidlington to Hill Farm Lane on Monday (7.45pm).
