The 17-year-old right-back was maintaining a promising run for the Moles since joining them on loan from Maidenhead United at the end of November. He has made nine appearances, with Binfield winning seven of them and drawing another with their only defeat coming at title-chasing Flackwell Heath.

This was Binfield’s biggest win of the season and they would have scored several more goals but for a brilliant display by Milton keeper Craig Griffith.

With hot-shot Ian Davies left on the bench, Josh Pearson started up front alongside Jemel Johnson and it was Pearson who opened the scoring after nine minutes.

Moles continued to create scoring chances with almost every attack and had two efforts ruled out for offside before doubling their lead in the 34th minute through Johnson.

There was no let up from Binfield in the second half, forcing Griffith into making a series of excellent saves. But not even the Milton skipper’s heroics could prevent the Moles from piling up the goals.

It became 3-0 after 55 minutes when Aaron Rowland hit a curling shot past Griffith from more than 20 yards and two minutes later Rowland found the net again from long distance.

Johnson created the chance for Pearson to make it 5-0 on 70 minutes and the striker went close to completing his hat-tricks before being substituted. There was still no let up for Milton, as they now came under fire from young Ushiro-Lamb with his goals coming in the 75th and 80th minutes.

Both were set up by substitute Davies, who then got the ball into the net himself, only to see it disallowed. However, Moles did make it eight when Callum Whitty headed home two minutes from time.

Despite the big win manager Roger Herridge felt his side were not at their best, but added: “We did what we needed against under-strength opponents.” Binfield’s Flying Press Floodlit Cup semi-final at Rayners Lane on Tuesday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Moles are home to Holport in the league this Friday (7.45pm kick off).
