Larges Lane was the venue for the final, but there was no early home advantage for the mini Robins as they fell behind with just minutes on the clock.

But they fought back and equalised on 20 minutes when Jake Jenkins found the Wanderers net from wide right.

In the 28th minutes, the decisive goal was scored as Yuri Lerman hit a free-kick from 25 yards out high into the net to give Robins the lead.

Bracknell looked for a goal to seal the victory in the second-half and came close to extending their advantage as they struck the woodwork three times.

But they were also indebted to their goalkeeper, Aaron Williams, who made several crucial saves to keep Bracknell ahead as they secured the silverware.

Elsewhere, Pinewood Pumas U11s completed the double recently as they added a cup to their league success.

Following on from winning Division 4 S1, Pinewood secured the East Berks FA Plate by defeating Wargrave Wolves 4-1 in the final.

Pumas took the lead with a glancing header from Amar Bhatti.

They added a second when some great passing saw Nathan Bell-Harper slot the ball home to give Pinewood a comfortable half-time lead.

Wargrave pushed forward and deservedly scored with a diving header to reduce the deficit. But as they pushed on for an equaliser, they were twice caught on the break by an efficient Pumas side.

Bell-Harper grabbed his second of the game before Matty Bell-Harper sealed the win and secured the double for Pinewood.

A delighted Pumas coach, Paul Morant, said: “We are very proud of the boys achievements, as they have all worked extremely hard this season.”
