The Yellamen fell behind early on but goals from Leon Yarnie, Rob Saunders and Arafat Kabuye gave Ascot all three points and set them up for a massive clash against second-placed Ardley United on Tuesday evening.

Binfield secured their fifth straight win in dramatic fashion with a late comeback against Shrivenham at Hill Farm Lane that moves them up to fifth in the Hellenic Premier Divison.

The Moles trailed until the 87th minute before a Brad Brown effort and a Jemel Johnson injury-time strike gave Binfield all three points.

Bracknell Town recorded their seventh win in their last eight Hellenic Premier Division matches with a 4-0 victory over Reading Town on Saturday.

A brace apiece from Lewis Burns and Sam Barratt sealed the win for the Robins and keeps them in 12th place in the league.

It is now seven clean sheets in the last 10 games for Bracknell, with just five goals conceded in that time.

Elsewhere, Wokingham & Emmbrook ran out 3-0 winners at home to Chinnor in Hellenic Division One East.

It took until the 67th minute for the Sumas to break the deadlock through Julian Harley but they ran out comfortable winners in the end thanks to another strike from Harley and George Dance completing the scoring.

Finchampstead were also in action and remain in danger of relegation after losing 2-0 at home to Henley Town.

In Combined Counties Division One, Eversley & California fell to a 1-0 defeat at Banstead Athletic while Sandhurst Town were beaten 3-1 at home by CB Hounslow United.
