Sean Watson added the other goal for Rovers as they reached the club’s first ever cup final.

They will now face Sunningdale & Wentworth Reserves in the final at Bracknell Town on Friday, May 9.

In the Premier Division, FC Fernhill came from behind to run out comfortable 5-1 winners over Sunningdale & Wentworth.

Harry Goss put Sunningdale in front after just five minutes but the league leaders struck back on the stroke of half-time with a quickfire double from Charlie Evanson and Ben Knight, before Joel Davidson grabbed a third just after the break.

Evanson got his second before Lewis Burns wrapped up the scoring to give Fernhill a win that means a victory over William Twigg Vets on Sunday will be enough for the title.

A brace apiece from Josh Delander and Stuart Kent enabled in-form Twigg to run out 4-1 winners away to 3M, with Mark Tyler replying for 3M.

Saracens played their first game since December as they beat Bracknell Manics 5-3, while Ship lost 4-3 to Golden Farmer with Gary Bale, Nik Bale, Dan Adams and George Hobden on target for Farmer.

In Division One, Morale Madrid held on to top spot by beating Newbold College 3-2. Jamie Osborn, Jake White and Andy Vaughan scored for Madrid.

Hawthorn Harriers kept up the pressure on them by beating Cannie Man 3-2 to remain five points behind Madrid but with two games in hand. The two sides meet at Cantley on Sunday in a game that could go a long way to deciding who wins the title.

FC Meta are still in second place after their 5-1 home win over Warfield United, while Inter narrowly lost 3-2 at home to Bracknell Falcons. In the game of the day, Winkfield Cavaliers beat Prince 6-5, with 11 different names on the scoresheet.

In Division Two, Bracknell Celtic moved clear at the top by a solitary point after a 2-0 win over Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW. Parks FC beat Old Manor 5-2, while Waverley Rangers remain fourth after beating Winnersh Town 4-1. Atletico Muchachos lost 4-1 at home to Hope & Anchor.

In Division Three, Hurricanes remain top on goal difference after beating Roebuck 5-1. Sunningdale & Wentworth Reserves have three games in hand though, and convincingly secured their 14th consecutive win after beating Manics Reserves 5-0 at home. A Chris Hollis brace along with goals from Chris Adams, Josh Fuller and Dan Drew secured the win.

Bracknell Cavaliers made up for their disappointment last Sunday as they beat Finchampstead Sunday ‘A’ 6-0 to remain three points behind the joint leaders. Winnersh Rangers turned on the style to beat Parks Reserves 6-1.
