Ascot United's FA Vase tie moved to the Racecourse

IN a dramatic turn of events for Ascot United, their FA Vase clash with Newport Isle of Wight has been moved to Ascot for this Saturday.
The Football Association initially ordered the tie to be played at Cowes Sports FC, as Newport's ground was deemed unplayable.
However, Cowes were unable to accommodate the game on Saturday resulting in the switch to the Racecourse ground in Ascot.
Organisers will have to be aware of the logistics though, as Ascot Racecourse will be holding a race meeting on the same afternoon, which is due to finish at 4.45pm - the same time as the football.
