STEVE Nebbett has challenged Bracknell Town to prove their title credentials during the festive season.

Bracknell Town joint-manager Steve Nebbett.

Bracknell have failed to find any rhythm this season in their bid to secure promotion back into the Hellenic Premier Division, a washout at Woodley Town Robins' most recent frustration.

And joint-manager Nebbett believes Bracknell must now show they have the fortitude for the title race.

"People keep saying we just need to win all of our games in hand, but there are a lot and none of them will be easy," Nebbett told the News.

"We need to catch up, we need to keep on winning.

"I keep telling the players every game is important if we want to win the championship. We have got to show our mettle because anything can happen."

Robins will at least have home advantage over Christmas, welcoming Chinnor to Larges Lane this Saturday (3pm ko) before the much anticipated clash with rivals Finchampstead on Boxing Day.
