BRACKNELL Town joint-boss Steve Nebbett is hoping their cup success will be a springboard for league success.
Hellenic One East side Robins pulled off another upset last weekend when they defeated Premier Division outfit Shrivenham 2-0 in a FA Cup preliminary round clash at Larges Lane.
Shrivenham were the second higher division side Bracknell had knocked out of the competition following their memorable win over rivals Binfield a couple of weeks earlier.
Now Nebbett wants his players to carry that form into the league in the hope of winning promotion back to the top division.
"I love the FA Cup and of course the further we get the more money the club earns. But we really want to win this league and be right up there challenging," he said.
"If we can get a few more wins under our belts I believe it will really improve our confidence and our league form."
