BRACKNELL Town joint-manager Steve Nebbett hailed the significance of the Larges Lane crowd in Saturday's thrilling FA Cup win over local rivals Binfield.
The extra preliminary round tie looked to be going to the form book when James Suarez gave the Moles the lead on the half-hour mark.
But spurred on by a 375-strong crowd - the largest across Berkshire - the Robins roared back into the match and snatched victory with goals from brothers Sam and Tom Barratt.
The win capped off a perfect first week for Nebbet, fellow-joint manager Danny Oliphant and Bracknell, who beat Thatcham Town Reserves 4-1 in their opening Hellenic Division One East game.
And Nebbett was quick to pay tribute to the supporters who packed into Larges Lane to cheer their new-look side on.
"We were so pleased with the support we got on Saturday, we are nothing without the fans, they played a massive part in helping us win, they were immense," he told the News.
