Saturday roundup - Binfield beat Flackwell and Bracknell draw with Wootton

BINFIELD moved up to second in the Hellenic Premier Division thanks to a 2-1 win at home to Flackwell Heath.

The Moles came back from a goal down to to hit the Heathens with a quick double shortly after the half-time interval.

Danny Wing's 55th minute strike was doubled a minute later by Luke Williams.

Ascot United lost their fourth game in six matches after Highworth Town beat them 3-0.

Meanwhile, Bracknell Town were held to a 1-1 draw by Wootton Bassett, Tom Nugent scoring the only goal for the Robins.

Sandhurst Town swept aside the disappointment of last week's cup exit to run out 5-1 winners over Bookham. Fizzers goalscorers included Calvin Thomas, Chris Farrelly (pen), Vinnie Bond, Michael Watson and new signing Danny Turner.

Eversley held title-chasers Bedfont Sports to a 1-1 draw away from home.

Finchampstead returned from the long trip to Pegasus Juniors empty-handed after they were beaten 2-0 in the Hellenic Supplementary Challenge Cup.
