Reading YMCA closed the gap on Premier Division leaders Woodcote Stoke Row to three points with four games in hand with a 3-1 victory at Marlow United, James Hardie netting for the hosts.

Berks County went goal crazy as they slayed basement boys Taplow United 6-1, Alex Hills, Dan Sleet and Connor Banks all bagging braces. Jordan Jawandha scored Taplow’s consolation.

Carl Jenner, Dan Langford, Carl Self and Christopher Collin netted as Newbury won 4-0 at Wokingham & Emmbrook Reserves, while Wraysbury Village beat Highmoor Ibis United 2-1.

A double from Tony Ngoye and goals from Tyrese Corbin-Chandler and Edward Gadd helped Wright & Unity Sports to a 4-0 victory at Highmoor Ibis United.

It was a bad week for second-bottom Highmoor, as they also lost 3-0 at home to fellow strugglers Woodley United Royals on Monday night.

Wokingham & Emmbrook Reserves returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 home win against Mortimer.

Second-placed Richings Park kept their Division One title dreams alive with a 4-3 triumph at leaders Burghfield, cutting the gap to two points with two games remaining.

Ryan Adams grabbed a hat-trick and John Swift was also on target for Park, while the Burghfield goals came from Adam Taylor (2) and Richard Dance.

Burghfield had previously beaten Westwood United Reserves 2-0 thanks to a Dan Roberts double.

Ashley Balfour scored twice as Maidenhead Town won 2-0 at Reading YMCA Rapids, while Cookham Dean Reserves drew 1-1 with Rotherfield United after beating Maidenhead Town 2-1.

Austin Chadwick and Jack Shea got the goals for Cookham Dean Reserves, Balfour replying for the hosts.

Martin Abery was on target for Reading YMCA Rapids in their 1-1 draw with Hurst, Daniel Townson’s second-half strike earning a point for the visitors.

Division Two title favourites FC Woodley suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at AFC Corinthians while Hurst Reserves drew 1-1 with White Eagles.

That followed a 4-1 defeat for Eagles at Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves, the hosts’ goals coming from Tom Brownlow (2), Frank Dillon and Tommy Chapman. Lukasz Hryniewicz got the consolation for the away side.

Muneer Fakih, Ben Rose and Dylan Chaffin all grabbed hat-tricks as Woodley United A obliterated Highmoor Ibis Athletic 13-1.

Shamen Goswell also bagged a brace, with Stephen Walker-Boyd and Reece Brown rounding off the scoring.

Table-topping Maidenhead Town Reserves surprisingly lost 2-0 at Henley Town Reserves.

A Rhys York double helped Division Four champions Twyford & Ruscombe to a 2-1 success at Harchester Hawks Development, while the Hawks also drew 2-2 with White Eagles Reserves.

Piotr Bronk claimed both goals for Eagles, while Matt Jennings and Aaron Hedgecox were on the scoresheet for the home side.

Taplow United A secured the runners-up spot by beating third-placed Maidenhead Town A 4-2.

Bhurinder Bangoo contributed twice for Taplow, with their other goals coming from Dale Bowden and Luke Molloy. Jack Sharpling and Sam Evans were the Maidenhead goalscorers.

Richard Skidmore, Jonathan Nicholas and George O’Brien hit the target for Goring United Reserves in their 3-1 triumph against Cintra Park Rovers, while Berks County Rovers put White Eagles Reserves to the sword with an 8-0 hammering.

Mihai LIhat helped himself to a hat-trick, there was a brace for Chris Searle and the scoring was rounded off by Daniel Murriso, Jordan Ryan and player-manager Matt Wade.
