HARRY Bagguley and Alexander Mufti were on target as Ascot United Under 12 Raiders battled to a creditable 2-2 draw against Bracknell Cavaliers.

The first 20 minutes were fairly even, but Raiders took the lead when Bagguley cut in from the left and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper with the outside of his right foot.

Cavaliers equalised a couple of minutes later, but Ascot regained their lead before the break as Mufti fired home from close range, only for their opponents to level after the break.

Michael James took the man-of-the-match honours for Raiders.

The U12 Chargers enjoyed a quite incredible 19-2 win against STB&G Royals, while Robbie Smith's double was not enough for the U16 Aces as they lost 3-2 to Southcote.

  • BRACKNELL Athletic U14 Bombers and U15 Devils drew 4-4 in an inter-club friendly.

Alex Vincent nabbed a hat-trick for Bombers with Lewis Lancaster getting the other, while a Tommy Eskdale double and goals from Reece Probert and Michael Lewis salvaged a draw for their opponents.

Midfielder Agustin Mancini was man-of-the-match as the U16 Spitfires were edged out 1-0 by Shinfield, while winger Lewis Birchmore starred with four goals in the U9 Razors game with Henley Hotspurs.

Bracknell Athletic Girls beat Tilehurst and Thatcham before being narrowly overcome by Shinfield in the semi finals of the Berks County League Futsal competition. Chloe Sykes was their top scorer.

  • WOKINGHAM District Under 11s continued their perfect start to 2018 by following up their 5-0 win over Woking and 3-0 win against Swindon with a 3-1 success over Southern Counties League rivals Dacorum, Ejiro Abbey, Jacob Len and Amar Bakkati on target.
  • SANDHURST Town's Hellenic League Division One East game against Wokingham & Emmbrook was postponed on Saturday.

The Fizzers do not have a game this week, while Wokingham host Chinnor on Saturday (2.15pm), before visiting Highmoor Ibis in the Reading Senior Cup on Monday (7.45pm).

  • Eversley & California – whose Combined Counties League Division One home game with Badshot Lea was also postponed – visit AC London this Saturday (3pm).
