FC FERNHILL advanced to the quarter finals of the Senior Cup with a 6-0 thrashing of Premier Division leaders Crowthorne Inn, writes Nick Carpenter.

They will play Sandhurst FFC who put out fellow Division One side Loveman United 4-3 on penalties after the tie had finished 3-3, with the beaten side’s scorers Ben Poynter, Ed Jackson-Sankey and Alfie Sparrow.

Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW stunned Finchampstead Athletic 3-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, and will now face Raglan.

They too needed spot-kicks, beating WAB 4-1 on penalties after the game finished 3-3.

Lenny Musgrove, Alex Badsah and George Lovel scored for WAB, while Tom Williams, Jake White and an own goal were the contributors for 10-man Raglan.

Morale Madrid advanced as they beat high-flying Twigg Vets 5-4 on penalties after their tie ended in a 1-1 draw.

They will now play FC Meta in the last eight after a brace from Lee Alder and goals from Mickey Johnson and Craig Rees helped them beat Winkfield 4-2.

Golden Farmer Rangers progressed with a 6-2 victory against Intercity 6-2, Brian Murphy and skipper Gary Bale with a brace each, plus a goal from George Hobden and a penalty from man of the match Stuart Kent securing their success.

In the Junior Cup, Silver Birch smashed Crownwood Dukes 8-1, Owen Rich and Alex Dinnadge each bagging hat-tricks, with Tom Harvey and David Morgan hitting the others.

Athletico Ascot trounced Braybrooke Athletic 5-0, Bearwood Wanderers beat AFC Crowthorne Reserves 2-1 and Bracknell Saint Germain also progressed, going to Woodley United and winning 3-2, Gareth Evans, Joe Green and player manager Tom Onions scoring for BSG.

Newbold College are also through with a 5-1 win at Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves, Anthony Adade scoring two, Leonid Mershiy, Chifumu Banda and an own goal the other scorers for Newbold.

In Division One, AFC Crowthorne moved up to joint third with a 6-3 home win against Berkshire All Stars. John Mulholland, Jason Ellary and Steve Morris bagged two each for Crows, Stefan Davis, Davey Blackmore and Bukky Odksi replying for the All Stars.

Ashridge Park won 3-2 at home to Hurricanes, while Finchampstead Reserves and Binfield Royals shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw.

Warfield United moved 10 points clear at the top of Division Two with a 4-2 win at home to 3M, and Berks County won 3-2 at Bracknell Athletic.

Division Three leaders Woodley Saints could only draw with local rivals Winnersh Town in an incredible 5-5 encounter.

Bracknell Falcons bounced back from their recent travails and walloped Berkshire United 8-0, while WAB Reserves and Winnersh Rangers drew 2-2.

Silver Birch A moved three points clear at the top of Division Four with a 3-1 home win against Bracknell Royals, FC Harmanswater won 2-0 at home to Whitegrove Pythons and Finchampstead Athletic A beat Bracknell Titans 7-0.
