BRACKNELL Royals recorded a third Division Four victory in four games to move second in the table following a 3-0 cruise against Finchampstead Athletic A, writes Nick Carpenter.

Crownwood Dukes top the title after their 1-0 win at new boys Whitegrove Pythons, while FC Harmanswater got their first win of the season with a thumping 6-1 success at home to Bracknell Titans. Simon Howkins grabbed a hat-trick and Jack Buckland-Roll, Ryan McGill and Wayne Antoni completed the rout.

Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves slipped up 5-3 at Silver Birch A, a Luke Morris treble plus goals from Dave Burton and Daniel Ruffle securing the points.

In Division One, pacesetters WAB stayed four points clear at the top as goals from Tom Smith and Ryan McManus helped them to a 2-1 win at Finchampstead Reserves, Dan Marles with Finch’s response.

Second-placed Loveman United had goals from Alfie Sparrow, Jack Gale and Todd Andrews to thank for a 3-0 win at home to Hurricanes, while Raglan FC are third after their 5-1 win at Sandhurst FFC, Jake White bagging a brace and Toby Angel, Anton Young and Tom Williams also on target for Raglan.

A Jason Ellary double and goals from Michael McCombie and Joao Jardim helped AFC Crowthorne beat Binfield Royals 4-1, and Ashridge Park and Berkshire All Stars drew 4-4.

Warfield United are still unbeaten in Division Two and they are now seven points clear at the top after their 4-1 win at Newbold College, Paul King with a brace, and Richie Cohen and Bobby Charlton also on target for Warfield.

Second-placed Athletico Ascot suffered their third consecutive defeat, losing 3-0 at Woodley United, for whom Greg Taylor bagged a brace and Luke Blakebrough got the other.

Braybrooke Athletic secured their first points of the season to move off the bottom with a hard-fought 2-1 win at 3M, Chaz Dulai and Martin Wiggins for Braybrooke and Erasmo Santelia replying for 3M.

Bracknell Saint-Germain replace them in the basement spot after their 2-1 defeat at Berks County FC, Bradley Hoy with both goals for the victors.

In Division Three, table-toppers Woodley Saints thrashed Bracknell Falcons 8-2 and Bracknell Corinthians won an extraordinary game 9-4 at Hope & Anchor. Rob Sherwood scored twice and Neil Hanger and Adam Jarman got the others for the beaten side.

Silver Birch thumped bottom side Berkshire United 8-0 as Owen Rich grabbed four, Tom Peters netted a treble and Justin Swyer completed the rout.

Third-placed WAB Reserves had Will Kennedy and a Gary Barham brace to thank for their 3-3 draw at Bearwood Wanderers.

Kevin Verney and Dave Hunt, who came off the bench to bag a brace, were Wanderers scorers.` In the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup Lewis Burns scored all four as FC Fernhill cruised past Golden Farmer Rangers 4-0.

Twigg Vets and FC Meta put on a goal-fest with the former coming out on top 7-5.

Finchampstead Athletic needed a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win to overcome Athletico Forest after the game had finished 4-4, while Crowthorne Inn had a comfortable 6-2 home victory over Woodley United.

Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW are also through beating Richfield Rovers 2-1, but Bracknell Cavaliers went out losing 5-1 at Beaconsfield Arms FC.

In the BTDSFL Junior Cup, Ashridge Park Royals overcame Winnersh Rangers 3-1, Alex Petley, Matthew Cowley and an own goal doing the damage.
