BRACKNELL Town & District Sunday League Premier Division champions Finchampstead Athletic ended their season in style with a 6-2 victory at runners-up FC Fernhill, writes Richard Ashton.

Byron Hobbs scored a hat-trick and Adam Callaghan, Ben Andrews and Jack Patterson were also on the scoresheet for the visitors.

Fernhill had previously beaten FC Meta 4-1 – Oli Johnson getting the consolation – and picked up another three points when Raglan conceded their game.

Morale Madrid took third place following a 6-4 win against Raglan and a 3-3 draw with FC Meta. In the latter game, Shane Cooper-Clark scored twice for Madrid with Daniel Slinger getting the other, while Meta’s goalscorers were Sam Angel, Michael Johnson and Craig Rees.

Division One winners Crowthorne Inn ended their season with a 2-1 home defeat to Winkfield FC, completing a good week for Winks who also beat 3M FC. A Ryan Martin double and an Adam Avis strike did the job.

Andrew Lazenbury and Ian Rose netted for runners-up Finchampstead Athletic Reserves in their 2-2 draw at Whitegrove, Alan Boxall and Shi Hussey replying.

Jack Gale scored Whitegrove’s consolation in a 5-1 defeat at Hurricanes, while his side also drew 0-0 at third-placed Intercity.

Andre Jardim scored twice and Mike McCombie also got on the scoresheet as AFC Crowthorne overcame Bracknell Forest 3-1.

In Division Two, champions Binfield Royals were stunned 7-0 in their final game by third-placed WAB, Marcus Frederick bagging a hat-trick and Mitch Quelch, Alex Badshaw and Danny Tippett among the other goalscorers.

Blake Browne-Koroma grabbed a treble as second-placed Berkshire All Stars thrashed Club 8 7-0, a Ewan Lynch brace and goals from Yusef Gois and Tommy Marshall completing the rout.

Hat-trick heroes Nick Gawen and David Amey led Berks County to a 13-0 evisceration of rock bottom Winnersh Town. Tom Peterson scored twice with the other goals coming from Matthew Pietrasik, Steven Bland, Joe Miller, Sean Watson and Mitchell Webb.

Bracknell Athletic beat Berks County 4-2 and Warfield United hammered Bracknell Saint-Germain 6-1.

Woodley United Reserves snatched the Division Three title thanks to 5-2, 6-2 and 2-0 wins against Bracknell Royals, Bearwood Wanderers and Winnersh Rangers respectively, while runners-up AFC Crowthorne Reserves beat Winnersh Rangers 3-1.
