In a feisty affair, Jake Dillon’s 61st-minute effort looked like being enough for WSR, but a late Lee Hawkins penalty sent the game into extra time.

He put his side in front before Scott Jackson made it 3-1, and although Michael Davies gave WSR hope, his effort proved merely a consolation.

In Division One, Westwood United moved within five points of top spot with four games in hand following a 3-1 victory against Frilsham & Yattendon.

Michael Hancock and James Bozarth scored to help Mortimer Reserves beat FC Imaan Lions 2-1, George Dallarda getting the hosts’ consolation.

Division Two champions elect Westwood United Reserves earned a 4-2 victory at Taplow United Reserves, while Highmoor U21s defeated Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves 3-1, Craig Antcliffe getting the consolation.

Lewis O’Connor, Alex Woodhead and Sam Jenkins struck for Finchampstead Reserves in their 3-0 home win against Maidenhead Magpies Reserves.

Harchester Hawks moved up to second in Division Three following a 2-0 success at Rotherfield United Reserves, while champions Berks County Reserves overcame Newbury Reserves 3-0.

Unity Reserves drew 2-2 with Brimpton.

Ashley Balfour scored a brilliant hat-trick to inspire second-placed Braybrooke to a 6-0 thrashing of Wargrave Reserves in Division Four. Christopher Gengasamy, Darren Barton-Taylor and Martin Bradshaw got the other goals.

Anton Hill and Richard Cumner netted for Berks County Rovers in their 2-0 home win against Woodley United B, while Twyford & Ruscombe drew 3-3 with Harchester Hawks Reserves.

Daniel Reynolds grabbed a treble and Thomas Heslop a brace as Goring United Reserves trounced The Hop Leaf 9-0. The scoring was rounded off by Matthew Ploszynski, Patrick Dyer, Alex Fletcher and Alex Davies.

Substitute Charlie Scope scored a stunning hat-trick to fire promotion-chasing Hurst A to a 3-1 success against AFC Corinthians A.
