BINFIELD FC completed their Hellenic League Premier Division programme with a 2-1 victory at third-bottom Oxford City Nomads last Wednesday.
Ravin Shamsi gave the home side the lead early in the second half after the Moles failed to deal with a long ball, but Binfield levelled matters when Harry Lee found the net on 72 minutes.
And they completed the comeback shortly after when the prolific Liam Ferdinand – who took his tally for the season to 41 goals in 39 games – struck the winner11 minutes from time.
The result leaves Binfield with an eighth-placed finish in the table.
- SAM Durham popped up with an injury-time winner to give Sandhurst Town a 1-0 victory in their Hellenic League Division One East clash with Rayners Lane.
The ninth-placed Fizzers host Bicester Town on Monday (3pm).
- EVERSLEY & California were thumped 4-0 at Worcester Park in Division One of the Combined Counties League.
The Boars host Dorking on Saturday (3pm) before heading to Cove on Monday (3pm).
