JAKE Dillon scored a magnificent hat-trick as Woodcote Stoke Row smashed basement boys Hurst 8-0 in the Premier Division, writes Richard Ashton.

Dillon bagged the opening two goals before the break before Jonny Summers made it 3-0 after 50 minutes.

The hosts then turned on the style as Dillon completed his hat-trick before substitute James Worsfold scored twice and Michael Davies and Frank Dillon hit the target in a one-sided rout.

Table-topping Marlow United edged a tight affair against Newbury 1-0 as James Hardie scored the decisive goal.

Second-placed Reading YMCA ground out a 1-0 victory at Mortimer, while Scott Jackson, Jamie Handscomb, Jack Alder and Kai Murphy-Douglas netted for Cookham Dean in their 4-1 triumph at Rotherfield United.

Jordan Jawandha bagged a consolation as Taplow United were thumped 5-1 at Unity.

In the Reading Intermediate Cup, Dave Rook’s goal helped Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves beat AFC Corinthians 1-0, while Ricardo Benvento’s strike was not enough for Woodley United Reserves as they lost 3-1 to Highmoor Ibis Reserves.

James Croft scored twice and James Bozarth and Justin Plank also hit the back of the net as Mortimer Reserves advanced with a 4-2 success at Westwood United Reserves.

Berks County Rovers began the defence of the Diamond Cup with a dramatic 5-4 win after extra time at Hurst A.

Richard Cumner and Ridesh Gurung scored twice for the visitors, with Christopher Searle getting their other goal. Blake Brown-Koroma, Arron Burch, Peter Jones and Charlie Scope were on target for Hurst.

A Jordan Sawyer treble and two goals from Brett Rann helped South Reading smash AFC Corinthians A 5-0, and Wargrave Reserves won 2-1 at Woodley United B.

Richard Dance and Jamie Wilson were on target for Burghfield FC as they progressed in the BTC Intermediate Cup with a 5-4 penalty shoot-out success following a 2-2 draw at Newbury Reserves. Daniel Jones and Jack Appleby netted for the home side.

Mark Eaton struck a sensational hat-trick to fire Maidenhead Magpies to the top of the Division One table with a 6-1 demolition of FC Imaan Lions. Nathan Lishman also bagged a brace and Sam Stevens got the other goal for the hosts, with Josh Johnson netting for Imaan.
