Bracknell Cavaliers continued their Premier Division title push with a comfortable 5-2 victory over Binfield Club Athletic, writes Ben Smith.

Left-back Scott Graham put Cavs in front early on when his free-kick deep inside Binfield’s half somehow beat everyone, kissed the post and nestled into the net.

Liam Whyte doubled their lead minutes later when he was played through on goal after excellent work by winger Ben Huddell, before Binfield reduced the arrears less than one minute later.

After half time Jordan Ive scored two sensational goals to put the game beyond 10-man Binfield, who had a player sent off for foul and abusive language.

Ive’s first saw him pick his spot from distance, chipping the goalkeeper in fine style before he lashed home his second with a fizzing shot into the top-left corner from just outside the box.

Binfield got one back late on before striker Dillon Warburton took his tally to six league goals for the campaign with an assured finish.

Second-placed Finchampstead Athletic kept up the pressure on Cavaliers with a 1-0 win against Morale Madrid.

It leaves them six points behind Cavaliers but with three games in hand.

Third-placed Golden Farmer Rangers drew 2-2 with FC Meta, the side below them in the table.

Bracknell Celtic made light work of basement side Braybrook Athletic after romping to a 6-0 victory.

Braybrooke remain rooted to the bottom of the table without a single point after losing all 11 league matches this season.

Finchampstead Athletic Reserves were held to a 2-2 by Bracknell Forest but still remain top of Division One.

However, their lead has now been cut to two points by Intercity, who thrashed Ashridge Park 6-2 and still boast four games in hand.

Hurricanes picked up a much needed win after edging a seven-goal thriller against Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW 4-3.

Winkfield also collected three welcome points to ease their relegation worries after beating Whitegrove 4-2 to at home.

Division Two table-toppers Berkshire All Stars were held to a 4-4 draw in a thrilling game against struggling Berkshire United, but nearest rivals WAB were beaten 1-0 at Warfield United to remain six points behind the leaders.

Rock bottom Hope & Anchor lost 5-2 at Newbold College, and Bracknell Athletic obliterated lowly Winnersh Town 8-0 – Jai McDonald scoring a stunning 30-yard volley in his brace.

In Division Three, Ashridge Park U21s remain top following their 3-2 victory at Bracknell Cavaliers U21s, but they are still only a point ahead of Bearwood Wanderers, who won a nine-goal classic 5-4 at home to FC Harmanswater. The second-placed side have two games in hand on Park, however.

Silver Birch’s promotion aspirations were dealt a blow after they were held to a 4-4 draw at home to Finchampstead Athletic A, Bracknell Titans beat Bracknell Royals 3-0 and AFC Crowthorne Reserves won 4-0 at Crownwood Dukes.

FC Fernhill missed out on a final place in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup after suffering a 3-0 home defeat to Slough-based Real Milan.
