WOKINGHAM District Schools Under 11s came from behind to beat Woking 5-2 in their Southern Counties Cup quarter-final, writes Richard Ashton.

The visitors found themselves 2-0 down inside 15 minutes – the first after just seven seconds – but began their fightback when Zachary Waight poked the ball over the line.

Then on the stroke of half-time, a long-distance effort from Max Smith bobbled past passed the keeper to make it 2-2.

Wokingham (pictured above) were much more clinical in front of goal after the break and the first of three second-half goals came when Smith drilled in a free-kick which nestled into the bottom corner.

The high intensity remained as Waight continued to create chances for himself and eventually grabbed a second, before Scott Morgan added to his season’s tally with a perfectly placed volley.
