LIAM Bushay scored in injury time winner to send Marlow United top of the Premier Division following with a thrilling 3-2 home win against Berks County, writes Richard Ashton.

The Bracknell-based visitors arrived on the back of a six-game unbeaten run and took a fourth-minute lead, only for Qwamani Thomas and Ollie Flint – later sent off on 25 minutes – to make it 2-1 at the break.

County levelled five minutes from the end, but Bushay’s late wonder-strike put his side two points clear of Reading YMCA.

Daniel Langford scored twice and Patrick Nelligan, Alex Nimmo and Luke Gray were also on the scoresheet for third-placed Newbury as they hammered Wraysbury Village 5-1. Clint Church got the consolation for the hosts.

Woodcote Stoke Row went goal crazy as they blasted Cookham Dean 8-0. Adam Cashin-Murray and Frank Dillon both bagged braces – the latter’s including a stunning 45-yard chip – with Andy Bullet, Dave Givens, Sam Green and an own goal completing the rout.

Steve Burgess and Daniel Pearson helped rock bottom Hurst take their first points from their 12th game of the season as they beat Highmoor Ibis Reserves 2-1, while Unity edged out Mortimer 1-0.

Marvin Hinds and Alex Seymour netted for Taplow United as they drew 2-2 at Woodley United Reserves.

Alex Ferguson was on the scoresheet for Maidenhead Town, but they lost their Division One derby 2-1 at Maidenhead Magpies.

Usman Tariq, Adil Ashgar and substitute Aqeel Butt were among the FC Imaan Lions goalscorers as they won 4-0 at AFC Corinthians, while James Bozarth’s brace was not enough for Mortimer Reserves who lost 6-2 at home to Westwood United.

Reading YMCA Rapids destroyed Cookham Dean Reserves 6-0 and Frilsham and Yattendon conceded their game at Winnersh Rangers.

In Division Two, Finchampstead Reserves moved top with a 4-0 dismantling of Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves, while Matt Bacon grabbed a double and Alistair Drury also netted for Barkham Athletic in their 3-2 success against Maidenhead Magpies Reserves.

Daniel Bissett and Michael Fountain were the Taplow United Reserves goalscorers in their 3-2 defeat to Goring United, while Burghfield FC won by the same margin at Wargrave.

The Highmoor U21 and White Eagles game was abandoned.

Mark Shoosmith, Elliott Poulter and Adam Shoosmith goals helped Ashridge Park to a 3-1 victory at Newbury FC Reserves in Division Three, Ashley Beckett on target for the hosts.

Chip Duncan, Cameron Netherwood-Meek, Anthony Lane, Steve Newell and Johnnie Palmer-Smith were all on the scoresheet as Maidenhead Town Reserves won 5-0 at White Eagles Reserves, and Matthew Lamplugh, Chris Tanner and James Lawlor netted to help Hurst Reserves edge past Woodley United A 3-2.

Harchester Hawks beat Unity Reserves 3-2.

Nine-man South Reading stayed top of Division Four after beating Berks County FC Rovers 4-1. Ibrahim Koroma, Nathan Curtis, Simeon Edwards and Brett Rann were on target for the leaders, with Richard Cumner the Swords’ goalscorer.

Second-placed Twyford & Ruscombe put in the performance of the day to win 12-1 at Taplow United A, while Daniel Reynolds’ goal was not enough for Goring United Reserves as they lost 4-1 at home to AFC Corinthians A.

Darnte Cranston bagged a brace and Callum Fox-Spence added another as Woodley United B defeated Hurst A 3-1, while a Dwayne Clarke double and a Steven Lebrecht strike earned The Hop Leaf a 3-3 draw at Wargrave Reserves.
