CASEY Starke made an instant impact on his return from injury by helping Wokingham & Emmbrook Sumas to a comfortable 4-0 win against Woodley Saints Panthers in EBFA U16s Division One.

Starke, back after five weeks out following surgery to a broken arm, fired Sumas ahead after good work by Adam McLaughlin then added a second from an Amir Idjer assist.

Man-of-the-match Starke also turned provider when his free-kick was headed home by Mike Valdambrini before completing his hat-trick after a strong, mazy run.

Wokingham & Emmbrook Oranges defeated Camberley Town Rebels 4-3 in East Berks Football Alliance U14s Division Six.

Kai Evans gave Oranges the lead from a Joe Turner assist then Josef Lamberton added a second after being set up by man-of-the-match James Starkey.

The same Lamberton-Starkey combination gave Oranges a 3-0 lead and, though Camberley reduced the deficit, Oliver Vickers added a fourth before their opponents struck twice again late on.

Freya Johnson scored both goals for Ascot United Diamonds U15s in a 4-2 loss to Crystal Palace.
