JASON Baverstock scored twice to fire Finchampstead Reserves to the top of the Division Two table following their 4-1 home win against Highmoor U21, writes Richard Ashton.

James Payne and Nicholas Payne got the other goals, while Burghfield FC hammered Taplow United Reserves 6-1.

In the Premier Division, in-form Woodcote Stoke Row thrashed Mortimer 5-0, Jake Dillon bagging a hat-trick and Sam Green and replacement Jonny Summers completing the rout.

Jamie Handscomb scored twice and Scott Jackson was also on target as Cookham Dean won 3-1 at rock-bottom Hurst, and Wraysbury Village drew 0-0 with Woodley United Reserves.

Adam Bygrave netted for Mortimer Reserves, but they were crushed 5-1 at Eldon Celtic in Division One, while George Dallarda and Adil Ashgar scored for FC Imaan Lions in their 2-2 home draw with Reading YMCA Rapids. Michael Holden and Andrej Homola were the goalscorers for the Young Men.

Jack Appleby, Ashley Beckett and Thomas Hitchcock did the damage for Newbury Reserves as they won 3-1 against White Eagles Reserves in Division Three, Jacek Bojda getting the visitors’ consolation.

Division Four leaders Twyford & Ruscombe eased to a 5-1 success at Wargrave Reserves, Jose Ribeiro netting twice and Michael Buckle, Andy Benyon and an own goal completing the scoring for the table-toppers.

Antony Murnane-Bell scored for The Hop Leaf but they were thumped 11-1 by Berks County Rovers.

Jamie Broadley bagged a brace and Raheem Francis-Mcfarlane and Ryan Witt were also on target as Winnersh Rangers dumped Berks County out of the BTC Senior Cup with a superb 4-0 victory.

Stand-in goalkeeper Mitchell Parker saved a penalty and Reuel Griffin, Kane Tyson and Ollie Noyes netted as Highmoor Ibis Reserves won 3-2 at home to Westwood United.

Carl Jenner struck a fabulous hat-trick and Daniel Langford notched a double as Newbury obliterated Maidenhead Magpies 8-0. Leroy Clarke, Alex Nimmo and Jamie Amor got the other goals.

James Nwoseh, Qwamani Thomas, Wes Sutherland all scored and Ollie Flint netted twice as Marlow United beat Frilsham & Yattendon 5-2, while Unity knocked out AFC Corinthians 2-1.

In the Intermediate Cup, Cookham Dean Reserves edged out Wargrave 1-0, while Miles Keeley and Oliver Lawson were among the goalscorers as Berks County Reserves won 4-1 at Goring United.

Ryan Brown scored twice and Jonny Clark also hit the target to put Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves 3-0 up against Westwood United Reserves, but the visitors came back to win 5-4 after extra time.

In a game which had everything, Westwood reduced the deficit to 3-2 before WSR captain Mark Pearson saved a penalty, only for the away side to level midway through the second half.

Jack Ploszynski put the hosts 4-3 but Westwood forced extra time, going on to victory courtesy of a controversial penalty in the second half of extra time.

Ben Ridley hit a brilliant hat-trick, Sam Stevens scored twice and Neil Tucker also netted as Maidenhead Magpies Reserves won a staggering game 5-4 on penalties following a 6-6 draw at YPFC.

Harchester Hawks beat Barkham Athletic 3-2, while Liam Besant collected a brilliant five-timer in Woodley United A’s 6-4 home win against Brimpton. Harry Neate got the other goal for the hosts.

Iain Murray, Mark Shoosmith, Elliot Poulter and Adam Shoosmith got the goals as Ashridge Park squeezed past Maidenhead Town Reserves 4-3. Chip Duncan, Sam Angel and Steve Newell were the visitors’ goalscorers.

In the Junior Cup, James Carter, Jordan Brown and Liam Carter helped Woodley United B to a 3-2 success at AFC Corinthians A, while Goring United A won by the same margin at Harchester Hawks Reserves.

A Jordon Sawyer treble earned South Reading a hard-fought 3-2 home win against Braybrooke, and Hurst A won 2-1 at Taplow United A.
