ONLY two matches were played in the Premier Division and Golden Farmer Rangers were in superb form as they beat a lacklustre Bracknell Celtic 6-1 to move joint top behind Bracknell Cavaliers on goal difference.

Celtic took a first-minute lead when Sipho Mphande slotted past Lee Barefoot. But it was a false dawn as Gary Bale equalised, then George Hobden rounded Dean Morgan before netting from a tight angle to put Farmer 2-1 ahead.

Hobden then made it 3-1 with a close-range header before the break and, while Celtic showed more purpose after the restart, Farmer’s Dan Adams fired home from 20 yards for a 4-1 lead as their opponent’s belief and resolve faded.

A fine Brian Murphy strike put Farmer 5-1 in front before Hobden completed his hat-trick in the last minute, beating Morgan at his near post from some distance.
