FINCHAMPSTEAD booked their place in round two of the Senior Cup with an emphatic 9-0 victory against Braybrooke Athletic.

Jamie Currie netted five times while Mike Starnes (2), Kieran Bushell and Adam Lawson completed the rout.

Bracknell Celtic came from behind to beat Premier leaders Bracknell Cavaliers 2-1. Ben Huddell gave Cavs an early lead, but Celtic levelled with a Jordan Alleyne penalty and then went ahead when George Pangborn turned in an Ashley Hewitt cross.

Cavs battled hard in the second period but just couldn’t find a way through a solid Celtic side well marshalled by the impressive Harry Stevens.

FC Fernhill are through after beating FC Meta 3-1 and will now face Finchampstead in an intriguing second round tie.

Morale Madrid secured a 2-0 home win over Golden Farmer Rangers who saw influential centre-half Dave Carpenter stretchered off with a nasty gash to his knee.

Division One side Intercity FC needed extra time to put out Premier opponents Super Reeves 4-3 after the game was locked at 2-2 on 90 minutes.

Another Division One side Whitegrove FC also put out Premier opponents as they beat Raglan FC 5-2 thanks to a Jack Gale four-timer plus a Shy Hussey goal.

In the Junior Cup, Warfield United were comfortable 4-0 winners at Ashridge U21s.

Goals from Sam Burnor (2) and Jake Keohone helped Berkshire All Stars defeat Bracknell Royals 3-1.

WAB hit four without reply at Bracknell Titans and Club 8 defeated Bracknell Saint-Germain 4-2 with Demetrious Hub and Jason Ellary each grabbing a brace.

Tom Sandys, Pandy Heal and James Ebel were Winnersh Rangers’ scorers as they beat Newbold College 3-0. AFC Crowthorne Reserves put out Silver Birch 2-1, David Morgan’s goal not quite enough for Birch.

A few Division One sides had cup byes and in the league games played unbeaten Crowthorne Inn cemented their place at the top with a 6-1 victory against Ashridge Park.

Sandhurst FFC are fourth after winning a nine-goal thriller against 10-man AFC Crowthorne. Joao Jardim (2) and a Mike McCombie gave Crows a 3-1 lead and, although John Cassell added another, Sandhurst stormed back to win 5-4.

Hurricanes beat Winkfield 5-3 as goals from Bernie McDonagh (2) and Marc Campbell were not quite enough for Winks.

Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW had a Jonny Clifford hat-trick to thank for earning their first win of the new campaign with a 4-1 home win against struggling 3M. Alex O’Brien was also on target, while Ryan Dixon replied for 3M.

In Division Two, Binfield Royals beat previous leaders Berks County 6-2 to move top on goal difference. Berkshire United are up to fourth after thrashing Hope & Anchor 7-0.

Bracknell Falcons stay top of Division Three despite a 2-2 draw against Woodley United Reserves. Tom Croft and Luke Blakebrough were on target for Woodley. The only other game saw Bearwood Wanderers move second with a 6-2 win at Finchampstead Sunday A.
