FINCHAMPSTEAD FC put in a much-improved performance as they sealed a come-from-behind Hellenic League Division One East victory at home to Sandhurst Town, eventually taking the honours 4-2.
Henry Lee gave the visitors the lead on the stroke of half-time, but second-half strikes from Sam Green, Stuart Moss, Richard Thomas and Harry Swabey turned the game on its head before Will Shaw’s late consolation.
Finchampstead host FC Titans in the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup this Saturday (3pm), while Sandhurst Town are at home to Mortimer.
In the Hellenic League Challenge Cup, Wokingham & Emmbrook blew a 3-1 lead before losing 4-3 at home to Premier Division side Lydney Town.
Jake Wheeler scored twice for Sumas, with Tom Williams – signed from Binfield – getting the other goal.
Patrick Gibbs, Mason Lewis, Liam Sheppard and substitute Niall Halford netted for the visitors.
Jake Bailey and Jordan Goddard have joined Sumas from from Woodley United and Henley Town respectively.
Wokingham & Emmbrook host Chinnor on Saturday (3pm).
