THIS season’s surprise Premier Division side could turn out to be newly-promoted Bracknell Cavaliers, writes Nick Carpenter.

They proudly sit top after their pace up front and defensive nous stunned Golden Farmer.

Cavaliers raced into a two-goal lead after Ted Munson and Ben Hudell both beat the offside trap before finishing well under pressure past Farmer keeper Jake McKelvie.

Cavaliers were dealt a blow when James Andrew saw red for a high tackle, leaving them with 10 men for the last hour.

Farmer spent the remainder of the first half camped in the Cavaliers half, but either their finishing let them down or they were denied by keeper Connor Ridgers.

It took Farmer until the 80th minute to pull one back through a Dave Matthews penalty after the hard-working Dan Adams had been tripped in the box.

But with Farmer pressing for an equaliser, they were also reduced to 10 men when Dave Carpenter picked up a second yellow.

It was left to Hudell to wrap up the points in the dying moments when he punished a Farmer mistake to secure a 3-1 win for Cavaliers.
