ASCOT United Youth Under 15s became the club’s first team to win the Surrey Youth League Cup after a 2-0 victory against Oxshott Royals.

Ben Fuller and Robbie Veasey scored Ascot’s goals.

It proved to be a memorable weekend for Fuller, who also scored the only goal as Ascot United U15 Tornadoes beat Winnersh Rangers 1-0 in the League Cup final at Binfield FC’s Hill Farm Lane.

Winnersh were favourites to win the tie and Ascot relied on a fine save by goalkeeper Harrison Button to keep the scores level.

Tornadoes then grabbed the winner in the 35th minute when Fuller raced onto a pass and slotted home.

Button made another vital save in the second period but Ascot, driven on by the excellent Harvey Gilbert, held on for the win in front of a 150-strong crowd.

Meanwhile, Jack Jenkinson and Sam Wood scored as Ascot United Youth U13s drew 2-2 with Esher Colts.

Harrison Playle also grabbed a consolation as Ascot lost 2-1 to CB Hounslow Whites.

Ascot United Eagles U13s were beaten 3-2 by Burnham Cougars in their cup final. Nathaniel Larkin and Dan Ormond scored their goals.

Jason Kill notched a brace for Ascot United Youth U13s in a 3-2 defeat to Claygate Royals Hares.

Will Richardson and Ben Kleinsteuber both scored twice as Ascot United Youth U12s beat Cobham 4-1.

In the ladies and girls section, Ascot United Diamonds U16s stormed to a 14-0 win against Beecholme Belles on Sunday.

Brogan Moore hit a four-timer, Anaisa Harney scored a hat-trick while Evie Gane, Georgia Bowers and Rebecca Simpson all netted twice. Chloe Fletcher scored the other goal.

Last Thursday, Diamonds U16s lost 6-4 to Carshalton Athletic despite a Moore hat-trick and Gane strike.

Ascot United Diamonds U17s ended their season with a 5-2 loss to Beecholme Belles. Amy Woollard and Lauren Chapman scored for Ascot.

  • WOKINGHAM & Emmbrook Blacks ended their East Berks Football Alliance Under 15 Division One season with a 1-0 defeat to Bracknell Town Robins.

Luck was against the Blacks who saw Rhys Williams hit the bar before Robins took the lead.

Blacks keeper Ryan Annets made some impressive saves, and Robins held on.
