MARVIN Hinds struck a brilliant hat-trick and Henry Jones was also on the scoresheet for Taplow United as they eased to a 4-1 Premier Division victory at Hurst, writes Richard Ashton.

Cookham Dean made it 11 straight wins to move top of the table with a dramatic 2-1 home success against Woodcote Stoke Row.

The hosts made a fast start and were awarded an early penalty when Kai Smith was flattened by Mike Higley, but stand-in WSR goalkeeper Darren Russell produced a fine save to deny Jamie Handscomb from the spot.

Cookham did go in front shortly after, however, when Robert Smith produced a cool finish to beat Russell.

The hosts doubled their advantage midway through the half courtesy of another penalty, Jake Brooks holding his nerve.

WSR were given a lifeline when Kai Smith was sent off in the 65th minute, and they scored a penalty of their own through Jake Dillon to set up a frantic final 20 minutes.

However, the visitors then had Dave Givens sent off and despite Dillon forcing a stunning save from Cookham ‘keeper Nick Bovingdon, they could not grab an equaliser.

Rotherfield United defeated Berks County 2-1 on Monday, while Taplow United beat Woodley United Reserves 3-0.

In Division One, a Benjamin Jennings brace and goals from Ricky Latham and Ashley Searle gave Reading YMCA Rapids a convincing 4-0 victory against Cookham Dean Reserves.

Division Two table-toppers Westwood United Reserves lost their unbeaten record with a 1-0 defeat at Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves, captain Will Macdonald popping up with the winner on his return from honeymoon.

Thomas Bray scored twice and Matthew Belcher was also on target as Wargrave beat Ashridge Park 3-1.

Adam Williams hit a wonderful treble to put S.R.C.C. in pole position to win Division Three following a 4-2 win at Woodley United A. Jordan Sawyer got the other goal for the victorious side, with Joe Cripps and Samuel Mallows netting for Woodley.

The result leaves S.R.C.C. one point behind White Eagles but with their final game still to play.

The table-toppers ended their campaign with a 3-3 draw at AFC Baughurst, Neil King bagging a double for the hosts and Thomas Etheridge getting the other goal.

Nathan Lishman, David Olver and David Eales were all on the scoresheet as Maidenhead Magpies Reserves defeated Harchester Hawks 3-1 in Division Four. Dan Leather netted the consolation for the visitors.

Leaders Burghfield suffered a shock 3-1 defeat at Rotherfield United Reserves, who had previously drawn 1-1 with Highmoor Knights on Wednesday of last week. Darren Scott was the Rotherfield goalscorer.

Callum Finlay grabbed a brace as Shinfield Rangers won 4-3 in a thriller at Woodley United B. Jonah Vaughan and Owen Thomas were the other Shinfield scorers, while Grant Oxlade, Conor Creegan and Callum Fox-Spence were on target for the home side.

Shinfield had previously lost 2-0 at AFC Baughurst Reserves, King and Etheridge doing the damage for the hosts.
