WOKINGHAM & Emmbrook FC Blacks lost 2-1 to Didcot Town FC in East Berks Football Alliance U15 Division One.

Blacks were forced to reverse the fixture to Didcot due to a waterlogged pitch.

There was little between the teams in a goalless first half, but Didcot broke the deadlock six minutes after the break.

However, Wokingham equalised with 15 minutes to go when a telling pass from Amir Idjer found top scorer Calum Woodfield who fired home in style.

But Didcot grabbed a late winner from the edge of the box to seal the victory which sent them top of the table.

Captain Ben Cook, pictured above, was named Wokingham’s man of the match for a fine display in midfield.
