SUNNINGDALE & Wentworth moved into a five-point lead at the top of the Premier Division after a hard-fought 2-0 win at Bracknell Manics, writes Nick Carpenter.

It took Sunningdale until the 65th minute to break the deadlock when Taylor Elliott-Money leapt highest to meet a Dan Walker free-kick and plant a bullet header past keeper James Robinson.

Davey Blackmore sealed the points for the leaders near the end, rounding the keeper and calmly finishing from a tight angle.

Sunningdale also have a game in hand over second-placed Binfield Club Athletic, who were held to a 3-3 draw at bottom side Winkfield.

Winks took the lead through Ant Hart before Connor Reeves and Rory Angel then put Binfield in front in the first-half.

Winks’ Marc Campbell then hit a free-kick to level things up again before Toby Angel once again put the visitors in front.

Player-manager Andy Clark salvaged a point for Winkfield with their third goal just 10 minutes from time, hitting a 20-yard screamer into the top corner giving Neil Logan no chance.

Byron Hobbs scored for Finchampstead Athletic Sunday as they drew at home with FC Meta, 1-1.

The only other league game in the division saw Bracknell Falcons move off the bottom with a 6-2 win at home to Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW.

Only one league game took place in Division 3 as Crownwood Dukes crash back to earth after last weeks first win of the season, losing 7-3 at home to new boys Bracknell Titans.

Titans have shown a remarkable change in fortune and have now gone from bottom to 5th place, winning their last three games after losing their first four 11-1, 8-0, 12-1 and 5-0.
