A JOSH Dillon hat-trick helped Berks County cruise past Ascot United Development 3-0 in the second round of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup.

Defending champions Reading YMCA eased past Taplow United 5-0, while Newbury also advanced with a 3-0 success at home to Wallingford Town.

AFC Aldermaston crashed out 3-2 at Lambourn Sports, Mortimer lost 3-0 to Long Wittenham Athletic, and Highmoor Ibis Reserves were edged out 1-0 at Hurst.

The game between Winnersh Rangers and Westwood United was abandoned after 77 minutes due to an assault on referee Steve McMahon.

Woodcote Stoke Row climbed to second in the Premier Division table with a convincing 5-1 rout of 10-man Cookham Dean.

Toby Nowell beat two men before unleashing a ferocious shot into the top left hand corner to put the hosts in front on three minutes, and they were given a further boost when a Cookham player was sent off for an alleged stamp shortly after.

The outstanding Nowell doubled the lead before Sam Green made it 3-0 in the 27th minute.

Jake Dillon extended the lead midway through the second half, and although Lee Hawkins struck a consolation, Dillon completed the rout from the penalty spot after Nowell was brought down.

Woodley United Reserves secured a 4-2 victory at home to struggling Unity.

In Division One, goals from James Brown, Luke Flory and Dan Allen earned Mortimer Reserves a 3-2 success at Highmoor Under 21, while Cookham Dean Reserves and Frilsham & Yattendon drew 0-0.

Division Two leaders Westwood United Reserves dropped their first points of the season as their top-of-the-table clash with Eldon Celtic ended goalless, allowing Marlow United to move to within three points of top spot.

Neil Austin, James Brown, Chris Davies and Mark Rowley were on target for Marlow as they beat Barkham Athletic 4-2, and a Clive Akem-Che hat-trick and Brodie Davies and Curtis Robertson strikes sealed a 5-3 win for Sonning at Wargrave.

A Chris Hayter brace and a Scott Drummond-Bayne effort were not enough for Ashridge Park as they lost 5-3 at home to Imaan FC.

Ben Lyden, Luke Edwards, Bilal Saleem, Usman Tariq and Sabeel Ashgar did the damage for Imaan, although the latter blotted his copy book by later getting sent off.

Kieran Cane was another player to score before seeing red as S.R.C.C. lost for the first time in Division Three, falling 3-1 at Finchampstead Reserves.

White Eagles stayed second after a 4-2 win at home to Taplow United Reserves.

Lukasz Hryniewicz, Mateusz Krochmal, Dawid Nagoda and Tomasz Halys struck for Eagles, and goals from Jack Shea and Steven Eaton were insufficient for Taplow.

Steven Francis and Connor Mcnama netted for AFC Aldermaston Reserves in a 2-0 win against Wargrave Reserves, while Unity Reserves eased to a 4-1 triumph at home to Woodley United A.

Shane Caswell scored a hat-trick but was still on the beaten side as Twyford & Ruscombe were thrashed 7-4 at home to AFC Baughurst.

Ryan Jansen grabbed the other for the hosts, but doubles from Andy Miller and George Garrity, allied to Neil King, Tommy James and Thomas Etheridge strikes, sealed the win for Baughurst.

In Division Four, table-topping Hurst Reserves thumped FC Reading Dons 6-0, allowing Harchester Hawks to go level on 11 points following their 3-1 success at Highmoor Knights.

Connor Banks scored twice and Joshua Stefanini, Christian Brooker and Samuel Vine also got on the scoresheet as Berks County Reserves won 5-3 at AFC Corinthians Reserves, while Jamie Wilson completed a brilliant hat-trick as Burghfield FC crushed Theale 6-0.

Stuart Taplin, Adam Taylor and Daniel Ward rounded off the rout.

TDC Knights made it six Division Five wins in a row with a 5-1 romp at The Hop Leaf. Christopher Potter bagged a brace and Kobby Duodu, Ryan Holmes and Jason Agate were also on target for Knights.

A Charlie Scope brace and Asher Price's goal sealed a 3-0 win for Hurst A at Woodley B, while Sonning Sports won 2-1 at home to Berks County Rovers.

Wayne Little and Daniel Fletcher netted for the hosts, with Richard Cumner grabbing the consolation.

Shinfield Rangers snatched a 5-3 success in a thriller at home to Taplow United A, with Gareth Wills scoring twice and Dylan Chaffin, Shaman Goswell and Dylan Young also on target for the victors.

Shaun Gray bagged a brace and Sam Simmonds added the other for Taplow.
