SANDHURST’S Premier Division survival hopes hang by a thread after they were beaten by four wickets at Mortimer West End.


Bishal Tapah (47) top scored in the Camels’ total of 155-7, while Andy Trott (3-38) and Nick Kingston (3-48) impressed with the ball.


Mark Clapham (3-25) reduced the hosts to 44-6 in reply, but the experienced Paul Belcher (51no) and Bob Hodson (57no) shared a brilliant 115-run partnership to take their side to victory.


Sulhamstead all but sealed a second championship in three years as they beat West Reading by 20 runs.
Mohammed Hafeez blasted a superb 88 as Sully were dismissed for 205, with Shary Tariq (4-37) and Hafeez Ul-wahab (3-37) the pick of the home side’s bowlers.


Zafar Ali (95) and Adam Davidson (43) had Wests cruising as they reached 109-1 and later 170-4, but they suffered a shocking collapse to be knocked over for 185 as Doug Macdonald (3-23), Robert Lattimore (3-29) and Craig Palmer (3-51) ran riot.


Second-placed Crowthorne & Crown Wood slipped to a third defeat in a row at home to Woodley.
Adnan Riaz (76) was in fine form as the visitors totalled 230, while Jeff Cluett took 6-52.

No Crows batsmen really got going as they were dismissed for 154 in reply, Kousik Dheenathayalan taking 4-11. 

Peppard Stoke Row earned a 45-run win in their derby with Woodcote.

Andy Watts hit a majestic 113 as PSR reached 237-7, while Zaf Akram (4-50) bowled well for Cote.

Ian Jackson (3-39) made early inroads during the Woodcote innings, but JP Brouard (46) and Jonny Aldridge (43no) led a recovery.

It was left to 13-year-old James Langston (3-23) to make the key contribution as he ran through the lower order, Cote falling to 192 all out.

Zubair Khan (4-26) helped BCS Grosvenor skittle Ruislip Victoria for just 139 before the visitors secured a comfortable eight-wicket win.

In Division One, Welford Park kept their promotion hopes alive by thrashing leaders Emmbrook & Bearwood by eight wickets.

Ian Herrington (5-18) and son Will (3-21) routed the visitors for 116, and the latter then hammered 86 as Park raced to victory in just 15 overs.

Goring-on-Thames sit second after they beat Checkendon by 91 runs.

Ollie Carrier top scored as the hosts were bowled out for 139, with Raj Tiwari taking 4-38.

However, Checkendon capitulated in reply as debutant Alfie Clifton (3-13) and father-and-son duo Chris (3-16) and Jack (3-9) Winterbottom skittled them for just 48. 

Peppard Stoke Row 2nds climbed off the bottom with a sensational three-wicket win at Ibis Mapledurham.

Ankit Singh (91) and Tom Osborne (84) took Ibis to 259-4, but wonderful performances from Simon Gozzard (80), Sam Fooks (70no) and Richard Walker (48) saw PSR home with three balls to spare.
Stratfield Turgis earned a 31-run win at home to West Reading 2nds.

Useful contributions throughout the hosts order guided Stratfield to a competitive total of 222-7, while Amaar Raja, Mohammed Asif and Wasim Akram all took two wickets.

Fahad Raja (64) was in form for the visitors in reply, but he received little support from the rest of the order and Wests were eventually dismissed for 191.

Luke Anthony (4-11) and Tom Clay (4-35) were the chief destroyers for Stratfield.
