Having won nine out of nine games leading up to Christmas with free flowing and attacking football, Reeves Rangers were ‘promoted’ to Division Four.

There, they continued their amazing run by winning nine of their remaining 11 games to secure the league title thanks to their superb victory in their very last game.

Their success was perfectly timed as Reeves Rangers have recently celebrated their 40th anniversary.

Wokingham & Emmbrook WOKINGHAM & Emmbrook Cougars defeated Milford Pumas Ajax 4-1 to secure the Under 13s North East Hants League Division One title.

The championship boiled down to the outcome of the match, with Cougars requiring a victory to finish top and Milton needing only a draw.

Cougars got off to a blistering start at Arborfield when Ben Alderman opened the scoring from an Ed Hall corner.

In-form Alderman doubled Wokingham’s lead soon after when he converted a superb Josh Richmond cross.

Wokingham remained on top and they were gifted a third goal when Ed Richardson stabbed home from close range.

Milford, though, hit back with a well-taken goal to cut Wokingham’s lead to 3-1 with 10 minutes remaining.

However, Cougars quickly responded and a fine goal from Louis Abbot made it 4-1 to secure the victory and the league title with it.

Wokingham’s outstanding performance was due in no small part to the efforts of James Norgate, Alex Saul, Ben Smith and Harry Johnson in defence and some impressive saves from Lewis Booth.

Patrick Vickery, Matt Swindley, Jamie Vickery and Hall also dominated in midfield.

Wokingham ended a superb campaign with 13 wins and one loss from their 14 matches and 74 goals scored.

Berks County BERKS County Leopards were too strong for hosts Woodley Saints Cougars in a 4-1 victory in East Berks Football Alliance Under 12s Division Three.

Woodley started brightly but Leopards grew into the game and took the lead when Sam Wood sliced through the home team’s defence and rounded the keeper before finding the net.

It remained 1-0 until early in the second half when Leopards doubled their lead through a close-range strike from Tom Stowe.

The same player was then involved in his side’s third goal when he was brought down by the Woodley keeper and James Phillips made no mistake from the resulting penalty.

Woodley, however, pulled one back soon after from an excellent long-range strike.

But Leopards finished strongly and grabbed a fourth goal through Stowe again shortly before the final whistle.

Eversley & California EVERSLEY & California Under 15s opened up a three point lead at the top of the Oxford Mail Youth League Division A with an emphatic 7-0 victory against Ardington & Lockinge.

Eversley were on top from the first whistle and took the lead through Jack Weatherley.

Alfie Andrews doubled their lead on the stroke of half time before Eversley ran riot in the second half.

Harry Sage was next to score soon after the restart and that was quickly followed by a Jordan Edwards strike to make it 4-0.

There was still time for Andrews to grab two more goals to complete his hat-trick and for man-of-the-match Weatherley, pictured below, to net his second of the game to round off the victory.
