It was a comfortable win for a dominant Finchampstead, but they remain six points off the league leaders due to FC Fernhill winning 15-1 at basement side Club 8.

Finch now need to win their remaining two games and hope that Fernhill slip up in their final game of the season against Sunningdale & Wentworth.

As well as that, Finch will need to go goal crazy as they require a goal difference swing of 18 if they are to secure the title against the odds.

Elsewhere, 3M FC shocked Golden Farmer Rangers in a seven-goal thriller.

A Mark Tyler brace and goals from Luke Toudup and Tony Robinson gave 3M all three points as they bounced back from a 1-0 defeat to Raglan FC on Thursday.

Daniel Slinger’s hat-trick ensured Morale Madrid ended their season in style with a 4-1 victory over AFC Wokingham.

Lee Simpson added the other goal for Madrid whilst Thomas Williams netted a consolation for the visitors. The victory means Madrid end the season in fourth place, while it was a disappointing result for a Wokingham side who drew 1-1 at FC Meta on Thursday.

Sunningdale & Wentworth Reserves maintained their relentless march to the Division One title with a 5-2 win over high-flying Bracknell Manics FC, having thrashed Cannie Man 5-1 last Thursday.

Jack McHale scored the consolation but the victory means Sunningdale could now seal the title in their next game against Winkfield FC on Thursday evening.

Cannie Man took advantage of Manics’ defeat to move second with an emphatic 7-1 win over Parks FC.

A brace apiece from Ricky Belo and Stuart Corfield put the visitors in control, before Craig Newell, Daniel Howard and Ben Baker sealed the victory.

Winkfield FC ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against Hurricanes thanks to goals from Tom Green, Ryan Martin and Bernie McDonagh.

Hurricanes had previously earned a 2-2 draw at Bracknell Falcons on Thursday, with Sam Jolley and Amritpal Labana on target for the visitors.

Michael Guscott and Callum Streatley were the Falcons’ goalscorers.

Bracknell Celtic showcased their superiority with a 4-1 win at Ashridge Park whilst AFC Crowthorne were comfortable 4-2 winners against Waverley Rangers.

Oswald Manwengwa netted twice along with goals from Bailey Fullbrook and Tom Clarke to seal victory for Crowthorne.

Waverley had previously enjoyed a better day at the office when they hammered Parks FC 4-0 on Thursday.

The race for the Division Two championship remains in the balance as Braybrooke Athletic and Sandhurst FFC both held their nerve to see off Winnersh Town and Old Manor respectively.

Braybrooke remain three points clear after their 5-3 victory, but they’ve played two games more than second-placed Sandhurst, who won 4-1.

Braybrooke had previously edged past Woodley Hammers 2-1 thanks to goals from Ryan McManus and Tom Smith on Thursday.

Hope & Anchor recovered from an 8-1 drubbing against Sandhurst FFC to gain a valuable three points in the basement battle as they won 4-2 at Crownwood Dukes.

Chris Attwood, Neil Bridges and Josh Gladstone scored for Anchor to add to an own goal.

Berks County FC were comfortable 5-2 winners in the mid-table battle against Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW. Doug Scholes scored twice and Dan Marles and Kwame Appiah were also on the scoresheet as Finchampstead Athletic Sunday Reserves beat Winnersh Town 5-0 on Thursday.

In what could’ve been a Division Three title decider, Berkshire All Stars were left to reflect on “what ifs” as Shi Hussey scored the only goal in their 1-0 win against champions Whitegrove FC.

Hussey was also on target – along with James Nwoseh and Calvin Grainger – in a convincing 3-1 win against Winnersh Town Reserves on Thursday.

Elsewhere, Winnersh Rangers kept their hopes of a third-place finish alive with an enthralling 4-3 win over Finchampstead Athletic Sunday A.

Nick Butcher scored twice and Sean Cole and James Evans also netted for Rangers, while David Matthews bagged a brace and Anthony Prior was also on target for Finch.

FC Bracknell ended their season with a 5-3 win over basement side Winnersh Town Reserves.
