Eversley & Cal THE Boars U15s reached the Oxford Mail Youth League Cup final after a narrow 1-0 victory against last years defending champions Oxford Blackbirds.

The game started at a frantic pace with both teams trying to take control and dominate play, but while Eversley were keen to shoot as much as possible, the majority of their efforts were off target.

Oxford had a handful of chances were also unable to break the deadlock and the sides went into the break at 0-0.

Eversley made a few substitutions for the second half and began to stretch Oxford as they pressed forward at every opportunity. Their efforts were rewarded midway through the half as Joseph Romanski struck from close range with what would be the only goal of the match.
